Today’s quote is a favorite of mine for several reasons:
First: It is old and so to me evokes a different world of slower time and travels.
Second: It’s about inclusion, that all people are worthy of grace which I so believe.
Many of the people whose quotes I use I have no idea about however in reading the things people say that were captured, you get a glimpse of their thinking and it’s that small glimpse that helps us think better.
George Bernard Shaw said,
“The great secret is not having bad manners or good manners or any other particular sort of manners, but having the same manner for all human souls; in short, behaving as if you were in heaven, where there are no third-class carriages, and one soul is as good as another.”
