Dear Topher,
Let me start off with saying that having you in my life for the past eight years has been an experience. Not a bad one. An exciting, emotional, tireless experience. Although you and I are far from perfect and we’ve seen many days when it constantly rained, I’ve always been a firm believer in: No rain. No rainbow.
I’m so glad that we were friends for years before we got together a year ago. I believe having that friendship background has made us strong and what we are today.
I can’t thank you enough for your patience throughout this year. From my girl tantrums, health problems and me just being Reese; it never ceases to amaze me how forgiving you are and how much you really know me.
The last year together has been one very exciting rollercoaster, with a lot of fun, laughter, scary loops and moments where I wish I could get off this fucking ride.
But I’m glad I didn’t jump ship. I’m glad that we persevered and we’re still together today – a year on.
Here’s to 2013. May there be more home cooked dinners, silly games, nights in hotels and laughter.
