If you couldn't answer with your job, how would you answer the question, 'what do you do'?
I do a lot of different things, I’m no longer a girl who goes to work comes home, and has no life or hobby, though I’m sure others would disagree!
I am a blogger, it may only be a hobby but it is something I am, just like someone who plays football for a local team would say they are a footballer. I spend time choosing what I’m going to post, taking pictures, making sure I wear outfits at the right time, mainly so that photo opportunities are easy come by.
I am also very actively involved in my church, that’s something I do. I’m involved with doing readings, I have my first one on Sunday and I’m slightly terrified, luckily there isn’t a baptism. I also spend time organising our Children’s Church, and I’m in the process of setting up a Young People’s group. I’m also part of the team that keeps the website up to date, and we’re in the process of redesigning it, if costs allow.
Every evening I spend time on my blog and preparing for church, to outsiders all I do is sit on my laptop. I don’t spend my time constantly sat on Facebook, though it is always open. I’m usually sat writing, or planning, or editing photos, or sending important emails.
What do I do?
I do lots of things, and I wouldn’t not do them because they are well worth doing.
