I saw this over on PeanutButterJenny's blog and thought that doing this challenge would be a great way to get into the christmas mood. Every day, I'll post about something christmassy on the topic for that day and today's is Favourite Christmas Movie...I have two favorite christmas films and I tried to choose between them, but I couldn't! My two are Elf and It's a Wonderful Life.
Both of these films never fail to put me in the christmas mood and I love them both too much to choose just one! Elf is a feel good film about one of Santa's elves, Buddy, who learns of his true identity as a human and goes to New York City to meet his biological father, spreading Christmas cheer in a world of cynics as he goes. It's a very funny film and you won't stop laughing! It's a Wonderful Life is a classic christmas film and is set in Bedford Falls, New York on Christmas Eve. George Bailey is deeply troubled and suicidal. Prayers for his well-being from friends and family reach Heaven. Clarence Odbody, Angel 2nd Class, is assigned to visit Earth to save George, thereby earning his wings. Franklin and Joseph, the head angels, review George's life with Clarence and to show George that he has impacted many lifes and is needed in the town. It's another feel good film and a very good christmas film! If you haven't watched it, you need to!
