Four years ago, CTU agent Jack Bauer became a fugitive from justice. Soon, he will risk his life and freedom to avert another global disaster and LIVE ANOTHER DAY. Jack spent the intervening years in exile, and now finds himself in Ukraine, where he has run afoul of Russian mobsters while trying to protect his girlfriend’s family. But they have come knocking at her door…

They took Sofiya and now it is up to Jack to get her back.  Jack is slowly starting to come clean to Petro and his family but doesn’t say too much.  The Russians are trying to explain to Sofiya that Borys is not who he says he is but she is not having any of that nonsense.  The CIA is getting closer to catching up with Jack but their assumption is not quite spot on with the truth yet.  Jack answers a call from the Russians and now has to exchange his life for Sofiya’s in order for her to live.  Jack of course has a different plan. With the unforeseen events that happen at the Russian warehouse, what will this do to the plan and will Jack make it out alive?

Since the last issue I found out that this series ends on issue 5 so we only have 2 more books (months) to get to the conclusion of this story. I know being a 24 story it will have lots of action and twists to come.  I am also enjoying how this is playing into the time frame between the last season of 24 and the current Live Another Day that is airing now.  I was a bit sad when the show ended so I hope this story ends on a good note.  So far so good in my opinion.
