Four years ago, CTU agent Jack Bauer became a fugitive from justice. Soon,
he will risk his life and freedom to avert yet another global disaster and
LIVE ANOTHER DAY. Jack spent the intervening years in exile,
and now we reveal what happened during his time in the European UNDERGROUND…
Jack Bauer is back at it. The next 24 hours of Jack’s life shall be unfolded. After a few years, we arrive in Odessa, Ukraine. Jack (Borys) is trying to live a new life with a new woman (Sofiya). He works with this new woman’s brother (Petro) at a shipment yard. After some Russians try to get Petro to inherit his low life brother’s debts, Jack steps in and trys to help…like he always does. Jack helped hijack a shipment of chemicals but ran into some trouble. They deliver the goods to the Russians but there is a problem, they recognize Jack for who he really is.
This book is fitting right into the fashion of the TV show. This is such a great hold over until the new series comes on. The artist has done a fine job of depicting Kiefer Sutherland as Jack Bauer on the page. I can hear Jack’s voice in my head as he is yelling at Petro during the hijacking. If you are a fan of the show at all, this is a great read. I am very excited for this series.
