So yesterday was my 21st birthday and it's safe to say that I was incredibly spoiled over the weekend! I really do have the best boyfriend and family who made it such a memorable day and I really couldn't have asked for anything more than that. On Saturday I was treated to a lovely shopping day in Glasgow with David which was followed by a gorgeous dinner at Jamie's Italian and then home for a comfy night and opening some presents which was exciting! On the day of my birthday we had a little family party in the house with plenty of cake, champagne and balloons to go around, and I definitely felt old afterwards as I felt like I could have gone to my bed at 6pm and slept for a day or two. I was treated to plenty of lovely presents but one of my favourites has to be my gorgeous new rose gold DKNY watch from my parents. I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it and knew that it was exactly what I needed in my life, and now I just need to get back into the habit of wearing a watch again as I was always checking my phone instead. David surprised me with a beautiful bouquet of flowers which I can't stop admiring every time I pass them, and majorly spoiled me with some DVDs and other goodies on top of my iPad which I got at Christmas time. It has definitely been a birthday to remember and now I'm just struggling to get stuck back into my dissertation (boo)!
