Marcella and her holographic clutch
"Finally a trend post !", that's probably what you're thinking, right ? My thoughts exactly. Yes, I got my mojo back and I'll be sharing with you many, many of the 2013 trends in the next coming weeks. Be prepared.
The first trend I wanted to talk to you about is holographic leather, an edgy metallic rainbow-shade silver shade on accessories this season. If you have seen Stella Mccartney's or Proenza Schouler's 2013 Resort collections you probably didn't miss this (mini) trend. But let me let you in a little secret, holographic clutches were first seen a few seasons back on our belgian fashion genius Dries Van Noten 2011 spring/summer collection. It just took the fashion world a little more time to adopt them...

Stella Mccartney and Proenza Schouler
I personally love this original effect on leather (or on faux leather when it comes to Stella's pieces). It's definitely very innovative and it does look extremely cool. My favorite has to be Stella Mccartney's flat clutch, perfect color, style and size. Now don't go crazy about it because this beauty is practically impossible to find (sold out effect).
