For me 2013 passed incredibly fast and was full of personal and professional achievements. I moved from one country to another (again!): The Netherlands was my home last year, and I loved it 100%, the food, the cities, the small cobbled streets, the flowers, but mostly because I got to share my experience with my friend, Dana. Also, contrary to popular belief it was a great environment to study (Maastricht, not Amsterdam!) so I totally recommend spending time there if you get the chance. Berlin is different, all kinds of different: the people are more open, the city is huge and full of surprises (you can never get bored, ever!), the food is strange & and almost everybody walks the streets with a bottle of beer in their hand. I also got to work for a great company where work and fun go really well together, or better said work is fun (or maybe that happens when you do what you like). Either way, I met a bunch of interesting new people but I still have to understand how german people's brains work (in a strange, strange way is my first outcome). Of course we all have our ups and downs, highs and lows, pluses and minuses but as 2014 is right around the corner we should celebrate all the good things that happened in the past year and prepare for an even better year ahead. Happy New Year!
