Eggs are the healthiest and quickest snack one can ask for in between meals. Who says that you can have them only for breakfast? You can make eggs nutritious by adding ingredients to it that are healthier.

Here is a recipe where you can make an omelet to snack on. The best part about this recipe is that you don’t need to cook it on top of a stove or hover near it while it’s getting cooked.

What do you need?

  • 2 Eggs
  • 4 Cherry Tomatoes
  • 2 Tbsp. Feta or Parmesan Cheese
  • Olive Oil
  • 1 Tsp. Fresh Basil or Parsley
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

How to make this mug omelet?

  • Coat the inside of your microwave proof mug with olive oil.
  • Beat the eggs till it is smooth and frothy.
  • Add the rest of the ingredients.
  • Microwave for 1.5-2minute depending on your microwave.
  • Sprinkle a dash of salt and pepper.
