At least 15 people were killed and more than 70 injured as a blast hit Jamaiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) election rally in Kurram Agency on Monday.
JUI-F candidate Ainuddin Shakir, who is contesting election from NA-38 constituency, was also among the injured.
According to reports, around 3000 people, including tribal elders from border areas were attending the rally, which was held in a local Madrisa.
The dead and injured have been shifted to Agency Headquarter Hospital Parachinar. Security forces have condoned-off the area.
