Julia from Julia’s Place invited me to join in her weekly 100 Work Challenge. It would be the week when the prompt “….the autumn leaves” had a twist. Julia, in her ultimate wisdom, placed a limit of 50 words only plus the three prompt words. How tough can that be? I had to think about it for a while but eventually came up with my offering below:-
Born at the end of October, as the Autumn leaves fell, her parents had incredible foresight into how her demeanour and beauty would match her name. Renowned for her fiery temper and her Pre-Raphaelite porcelain skin, with her head raised high and an arrogant flick of her Titian hair, Autumn left the room.
