10 Best Healing Oils for Hair and NailsTelling people about healing oils for their health issues is one thing, but showing them is something else altogether. So, I’ve collected some of the best articles I could find showcasing the wonderful properties of oils. You’re bound to believe in the power of oils after reading through these.
1. When I stopped wearing acrylic nails, my natural nails were in a terrible state so I went in search of something to help them. That’s how I found Almond Oil for Nails – #1 Oil for Treating Nails, Cuticle and Hands. I love the smell of this oil anyway, so it was a treat to have another excuse to use it. If you’re dealing with brittle nails, this should definitely help.

2. Over at the The Coconut Frontier Ann has a great a great article about how your hair can benefit from coconut oil treatments and follows it up with a DIY: Coconut Oil Hair Treatment. Go check it out.

3. Curly Nikki got me to finally try watermelon seed oil, and I love it! Read her Updates – Tangle Teezer and Watermelon Seed Oil and you’ll want to try it too.

4. Crunchy Betty is a great sight about natural skin care. Love all their stuff, but I especially love this one — Nitty Gritty on the Oil Cleansing Method. If you haven’t yet tried the oil cleansing method, this will convince you to give it a go.

5. Makeup and Beauty| Amazing Hair, Nails & Skin

Oils are good for you externally as well as internally. Amy says,

The benefits that omega 3 and 6 has on your skin, hair and nails are well known. I thought I would share two products I have been using simultaneously, one that I take in capsule form and the other I smear all over myself : )

She knows what she’s talking about —  Amazing Hair, Nails & Skin

6. Thanks to Mama Rosa of Hair, Nails, and Beauty Tips, cactus oil is now my favorite hair oil. I love the way it moisturized but doesn’t leave my hair oil. Great stuff!

7. Over at the Eco Diva Beauty Blog there’s a great article about chia seeds. They’re now on my short list of oils to try next. Check out 6 Reasons Why Chia Seed Oil Will Make Your Skin Glow.

8. I love the Natural Beauty Workshop Blog. I’ve spent more time over there than I care to admit and this article is a perfect example of why – everything you could want to know about Amla Oil.

9. Rosehip seed oil is my standard facial oil. Keeps the wrinkles away as well as moisturizes, but you can read all about Why Rosehip Seed Oil Is My Skincare Superstar (Health Benefits and Uses) for yourself.

10. Last, but not least, I’ve included one of my own articles about ody butter which is just hydrogenated oil. Let me know what you think of Best Body Butters You Never Heard Of.

Well, that’s enough oily goodness for today. Make sure you come back for more :)
