My bridesmaids have all been sending me pictures of the dresses they will be wearing (I let them choose). It’s safe to say they are all going to look fantastic. So far there will be two bridesmaids in green, one in red, one in blue and one in black (there are still three whose dresses I’ve not seen yet). It’s going to be fabulously colourful, and I think the dresses will look great with the oriental fans that I gave the girls instead of bouquets.
As it’s getting so close to the day, I thought I would give you just a little sneak peek of my dress. It’s an original 1970s lightweight maxi dress with a little bit of floral fabric trim. Originally it was see-through (was obviously worn by a VERY chilled out bride) so a dressmaker has kindly added in some extra layers to protect my dignity.
