Weight Loss Update – Frustrated But Determined

This week marks 2 weeks of going to the gym almost every day and about one month of cooking/eating at home almost everyday. I have lost zero weight. Ken has gained 5 pounds. How does this happen? I think this is the most discouraging part of weight loss. My butt hurts, my legs ache, my arms feel like I just rowed a boat across the Atlantic, yet no weight loss. This is usually right around where I lose my will and order a pizza. Not this time though, this time I am going to kick myself in the arse and keep going. I am going to wake up tomorrow and go to the gym, I am going to say no to pizza and make something healthy and I am going to lose this fat!

I have been friends with delicious fatty foods for so long. Bacon, barbeque, ham, and any kind of piggy meat has been a major downfall for me. I declare to clean up my diet. No more piggy friends. From now on, fruits and veggies will be my new friends.

I might be frustrated that I weigh the same, but I am determined to make a change. Even though I haven’t lost any actual weight, I know that I am living a healthier life. My health is the most important thing that I have and I need to take better care of my body, both inside and out. I will continue searching for the right combination to spur my weight loss, in the meantime, I will continue hitting the gym, I will learn to eat better, I will not give up, and I will stay on the road to fit!
