The Power of the Turkish Get-Up: The Exercise That May Save Your Life

Turkish Get-Ups are one move that I get pretty excited about. The Turkish Get-Up is a highly functional movement that requires all the muscles of the body working together in order to accomplish the task. It’s great move for your entire body,  requires a clear mind to master the technique, and some would argue that it can also save your life!

Your form and technique are critical  when doing the move, but once you get it you feel amazing (and look pretty good doing it too)! The benefits of the Turkish Get-Up may go beyond how you look and feel. The skills you learn from performing the move increase your mobility, stability, and strength, which can be translated to other areas of your life beyond the gym.
