My name is Sherry.

I started the two-week, low-carb challenge and in the first week, I lost 11 pounds (5 kilos). That was awesome. Then I went on vacation to see my son and his family and I did what happens to many people on vacation, and couldn't stick to it for the second week.

Now that I'm home I have not weighed myself yet, but I am thinking positively, but fully expecting to have gained some pounds back. I am going to restart tomorrow, Wednesday the 14th. And I will restart the two-week challenge again.

Obviously, from the first week, I thought it was a success and I'm sure it will be again when I start tomorrow.

I am female and 65 years old and I live in Massachusetts.

My thoughts, well... never tasted food like it - it is gorgeous.

I am not bloated and the difference in my stomach is amazing.

I have struggled for so long to lose weight after many rounds of steroids. I am extremely pleased to say I have lost over ½ stone (7 pounds, 3 kilos) in two weeks and wow, inches! I am not bloated and the difference in my stomach is amazing.

I even did my jeans up without laying down 😂😂 My skin is also really good on my face and I actually have energy.

The first few weeks are a little expensive but once you have got most of your dry ingredients they last for weeks.

Finally, my fussy husband who wouldn't touch it for two days now cooks with me and loves the food (that's a massive thumbs up to the keto diet)

Loved the way the diet was set up.

Told what to shop for, made one meal and it was great having it leftover for lunch the next day. Could tell the difference right away. I lost 6 pounds (3 kilos) in the first two weeks and am still losing weight.

The meals are very good and simple to make, learning to eat new things.

Hello Diet Doctor,

My name is Tamberly, and I am 39 years old and live in North Carolina. I started the two-week challenge as a means to help me understand the keto diet and to just to see if I could do it. Turns out that you guys provided me with a lot of helpful information and recipes that helped make the transition easier.

I realized that I could do the keto diet.

I realized that I could do the keto diet. I had my doubts due to me loving pasta and potatoes and sweets, but now they are a thing of the past for me. In the two weeks, I have lost a total of 15.7 pounds (7 kilos). Thanks a lot for your guidance and support. It was a great learning experience and I enjoyed it.

Thank you,
Tamberly

Hello, my name is Tania. I reside in Montreal, Canada.

I am 50 years old - 5′ (152 cm) tall and weigh 136 pounds (62 kilos). My goal weight is 120 pounds (54 kilos). I have taken the keto challenge for two weeks. It is true; the food is great, I lost 2-3 pounds (1-2 kilos) - I am sure it was water weight.

I, fortunately, did not have any symptoms of the famous keto flue. I did not have too much of a hard time eliminating carbs such as bread, pasta, rice, and potatoes. By the second week, however, my sugar cravings were strong. I was also hungry every day halfway between lunch and dinner.

I did intermittent fasting (meaning I skipped breakfast and lunch was at noon, dinner at 6 pm), which was easy for me. I was in ketosis as of day three and was able to remain on it. However, I understand the science behind eating 70% fat, but I am not convinced to eat this way as a lifestyle. I actually felt sluggish with less energy, the complete opposite that people are saying.

Will I remain on a keto diet? Not sure, as I feel very much bloated. I feel my system needs a cleanse from all that fat.

Tania
