The Cholesterol Network System

By Dietdoctor @DietDoctor1

The engineer Dave Feldman tried the ketogenic diet and felt fantastic... Until his blood tests came back, that is. Apparently, his cholesterol had gone up a lot.

He decided to dig deeper into this and started some fairly extreme self-experimenting. Feldham may have taken more advanced cholesterol tests on himself than anyone else in history. What he has found is highly interesting for anyone wanting to know more about cholesterol on a low-carb diet.

Apparently, you can drastically lower your cholesterol, by eating MORE fat. And that's not all. Here are some of the things we discuss:

Table of contents

0:18 How come an engineer ends up testing cholesterol intensively?
3:29 LDL is really about energy distribution
6:46 You get the majority of your energy from LDL particles on low carb
8:49 An inverse relationship between eating fat and LDL in the short term
17:45 The long-term effect of eating a high-fat diet
20:11 The main takeaways from the experiments

Watch a new part of the interview above, where he explains why cholesterol really is an energy distribution system ( transcript). The full video is available (with captions and transcript) with a free trial or membership:
