I first discovered the The Red Bulletin Magazine tablet edition soon after the first iPad came out. Its contents and layout displayed all the energy we get when we drink a couple of cans of the Austrian drink so popular globally.  Content about outdoor activities was accompanied by video and plenty of action.

Since then, Redbull has continued to tap into the media world at a rapid pace, via its Redbull Media House.  Its digital offerings today offer:

http://RedBull.com, an entry point into Redbull’s world of news, games, social tools and applications

RedBull TV,  live programming and on-demand video content from Red Bull Media House and its partners.

RedBulletin.com
RedBulletin.com is based on the idea of Visual Storytelling and translates The Red Bulletin magazine’s content into the digital world.

Social Media
Social channels frequented by millions of followers, friends and fans.

Speedweek
Cars, motorbikes and the sound of engines. Every issue brings all the latest information on global motorsports events.

Featured Films, Red Bull Media House produces full-length feature films for cinema and downstream channels (DVD, VOD, TV). It offers non-fiction action sports and youth-oriented films.

Print is also part of RedBull’s offerings, with five different print publications, including The Red Bulletin (global magazine), Servus in Stadt & Land (nature and science), Berg Welten (alpine adventures), #ICH (fashion) and Seitenblicke (entertainment).

Reuters enters the picture

RedBull Media House this week announced that Reuters, the world’s largest international multimedia news provider, will make a special collection of Redbull’s sports and lifestyle content available to all users of Reuters Media Express. Digital publishers that are not currently Reuters subscribers can enjoy unlimited access to this content, plus up to ten free, ready-to-publish news items per month by registering with Reuters Media Express.

I recommend that editors and designers take a look at all that RedBull Media House produces, since there is much to learn about storytelling, design and video use.
