Why do we keep recommending low-fat dairy, when there's zero evidence it does anything good for people? Here's another nail in the low-fat coffin. A new large study shows that people consuming low fat dairy get way more diabetes.
Meanwhile, the people consuming the most dairy fat had a 46 percent lower risk of developing diabetes.
Advising people to choose low-fat dairy is now completely outdated advice according to a leading researcher, Dr. Dariush Mozaffarian, who says that we should simply "remove the recommendation about fat content". I guess that's a good first step.
