Bruschetta Recipe

By Heathernichole

I wanted to share a favorite recipe of mine with you all. My fiancé is the one who came up with this for me. I love Italian food and I love bruschetta! I could probably live on garlic cheese bread and antipasto salads. We all know what would happen to my body if I did that though. This version of bruschetta is extremely healthy and you don’t have to feel guilty for eating it. Bruschetta usually has cheese in it but I leave that out and I honestly don’t even miss it. The bruschetta itself is actually vegan, gluten free and paleo approved. So everyone can enjoy!

Now this is the best part! Put some hummus in a bowl and add the bruschetta on top.

I like to stir it all together and eat it with a piece of pita bread. The possibilities here are endless though. You can add the bruschetta on top of almost anything. Think of it as an Italian salsa.
The great thing about this recipe is that you can play around with it. I am a huge fan of balsamic so I like to add a lot. If you don’t like it, you can use less or omit it all together. You can use more garlic or less garlic. It’s completely up to you. Make this your own. I hope you love it as much as I do!
