I love my birthday. It has always been my favorite day of the year. It seems as if each year it’s better than the previous. All thanks to my loved ones, especially my fiancé. He sure knows how to make a girl feel like a queen on her birthday.
I spoiled myself a little bit. I spent the day shopping and having me time.
I also bought myself a birthday present. I had been eyeing this ring for months and I figured it was about time I made the purchase.
My cards from my mom. It’s hard to believe this was my last birthday as an unmarried lady.
I was born at 5:20 PM so my parents {and their friends} called to sing to me right at 5:20. They do this every year.

We made it up the mountain and it was COLD! It was 34 degrees and we were loving it. The forecast said snow and that was pretty much all I wanted for my birthday.
I enjoyed a few drinks.
And we ate pizza for dinner. It was delicious! It will be a LOOOONNNNGGGG time before I have pizza again.

My fiancé gave me this beautiful necklace. The smaller heart is rose gold. It’s absolutely perfect.
He also gave me some pop figures.
I’m going to need my own shelf in his nerd room when we get our house.
When we got back to the room I Face timed with my brother, sister-in-law and puppy. It was so nice to see them, especially Nashy!
I took this photo because I thought I would devour my cupcake right then. I ended up not eating it until the next afternoon.
It started snowing shortly before we went to sleep. I went from being twenty-eight to four in a matter of 3.2 seconds. I jumped up and down and yelled, “It’s snowing! It’s snowing!” The next morning I went outside to take pictures.
This is what it looked like only two hours later. I was so happy. Snow is beautiful!
We stopped for coffee and lunch and headed down the mountain.
It’s now Monday afternoon and I’m officially on the Whole 30. I’ll be posting daily with photos of what I eat and updates on how I’m feeling {just like I did during my first round last year}.
