A Video Review of The Glenrothes Sherry Cask Reserve

Today's episode of A Tasting at The Murder Table features a review of a Single Malt Whisky expression from The Glenrothes Distillery that is no longer part of their core range as of this past October. The whisky that we'll be discussing is their Sherry Cask Reserve.

Unfortunately, since this whisky has been discontinued, there was no information available about this expression on The Glenrothes website, but I was able to find a wee bit of info on the Master of Malt (MoM) website. Here's what MoM has to say about this whisky:

The Glenrothes Sherry Cask Reserve was introduced to the Speyside distillery's core range in 2014, and it's definitely one for the Sherry lovers out there, as this is the first single malt from Glenrothes to be completely matured in first-fill Sherry casks. Yum.

That's not very much information, so if you're the type that enjoys a great read and a highly detailed review, I wholeheartedly recommend that you pay a visit to The Casks website for exactly that, i.e. a great read and a highly detailed review. But before you do that, check out what Limpd and I had to say about this whisky during our latest episode of A Tasting at The Murder Table, a Booze Dancing TV Production (not to be confused with a Quinn Martin Production) ...
