Firestone Walker Flyjack Hazy IPA Review

By Boozedancing @boozedancing

Over the course of our 10+ year blogging career, we've tried many a Firestone Walker beer, and they have rarely disappointed. Sure, there was the occasional beer that wasn't our style, but overall, we've been duly impressed with their output. From IPAs to Stouts to ridiculously good blends, when someone pours a Firestone Walker, we drink.

A few weeks ago, The Wookie was kind enough to pass along a lo-cal Hazy IPA called Firestone Flyjack. We're big fans of their Union Jack and Easy Jack IPAs, so we went in to this tasting with a healthy dose of optimism.

Here's what Firestone Walker has to say about their Flyjack:

With Flyjack, Brewmaster Matt Brynildson and his team created what many thought impossible: a full-flavored hazy IPA that flies under 100 calories. In Matt's words, "We wanted to prove that you don't have to sacrifice flavor for calories." The result is a remarkably drinkable hazy IPA that is crafted for adventure. Crisp and hazy, with hints of citrus and tropical fruit. A full-flavored Hazy IPA at just 5 carbs.
