...rightly said by Mr. Puruskar Gupta, Director of Fluence Studios (the content creation arm of CA Media Digital), in relation to the recently released, spectacular and power-packed trailer of Operation Parindey, which is another original film to be released by ZEE5, the OTT platform meant to deliver the best in original films in India. Since the trailer is out, I am thoroughly excited for the release of the film which is a fictional account of one of the most controversial jailbreaks in the history of India.
Operation Parindey is directed by Sanjay Gadhvi of Dhoom Franchise (Dhoom 1 and Dhoom 2). The film is inspired by true events and has the ever so talented Amit Sadh and Rahul Dev as protagonists. The film also comprises of talented and impressive cast namely, Amit Sadh (SP Abhinav Mathur), Rahul Dev (Monty Singh), Ameet Gaurr (Kartar), Kunal Kumar (Shreeni), Aakash Dhaiya (Pabbi), Rucha Inamkar (SP Komal) amongst others.
The film is slated for release in 2020 and the shooting took place across Bhatinda in Punjab and Mumbai.

The movie has a great and powerful cast and the director, is an experienced in this genre. It is a topic which has not yet been released on Digital Platforms and hence, this thriller film is what we must be looking forward to. I am particularly smitten by the trailer which gives a sneak peek into the 55 minutes long movie, which looks crisp, to the point and an edge-of-the-seat thriller. The dialogues look powerful and full of impact and I am already a big fan of Amit Sadh and his brilliant work over the years on the Digital Platform with originals like Barot House, Breathe and to see him personify the strong, bold and tough character of SP Abhinav Mathur is going to be another delight.
The ensemble cast look strong and great and the story seems intriguing. The poster release was enough to bring out buzz for the film and the trailer has simply amplified the buzz and it is a must watch movie for sure.
Director Sanjay Gadhvi who is a master of this genre is sure to do complete justice to the subject. He shares, "What originally drew me to this story was that it is inspired by a true-life event. The cast that I got on for this film is perfect and extremely apt to play their respective characters. This is my digital directorial debut and I am happy to be working with ZEE5 on it who have a fantastic reach making sure our story reaches far and wide. This film has a lot of depth and is challenging for me as a director, which is what drives me to take this forward. Hope you enjoy the film just as much as I am enjoying making it."
