English singer and songwriter Zayn Malik, in an interview with a leading lifestyle magazine, confirmed singing for a Hindi track.
The 25-year-old former member of the British boy band 'One Direction' announced the statement recently but didn't reveal the name of the song.
The dark-haired hunk stated, "It's one of the first songs I've sung in full Hindi, so it's going to be cool to see what the response to that is".
And further added, "There's definitely a lot of Urdu; some nice qawwali sounds. There might even be some bhangra vibes. I have worked with AR Rahman on one song."
We definitely have a lot to look forward to with his very first collaboration with A.R Rahman.
Zayn also disclosed that he is a huge fan of Bollywood films and watches them whenever he gets the time. He made his girlfriend Gigi Hadid watch Shahrukh Khan starrer Devdas as that was his favourite Bollywood film.
Zayn recently posted a picture with Shahrukh and was in total praise of him.
He said, "I personally wasn't a huge fan until I met him. I realised how humble he is. Really showed a different side to him. He always came across as slightly arrogant in the movies to me, but when I met him in real life, he was so nice. He just completely changed my opinion of him."
It will be rather interesting to see the global star with such a strong fanbase perform a song for a Bollywood movie.
