Last night I was doing some Christmas shopping at La Rinascente in Milan and stopped by the YSL corner. The Cabas ChYc bag has been on my wishlist since its release and I was suprised to find a new design available. After asking the shop assistant why the two Cabs ChYc on display were different, she explained that the new available design was the one from Hedi Slimane.
So what had changed? First of all the accessories of the bag all the round parts were transformed in squares, giving the bag a 'boy-ish' look. The design doesn't h has remained very similar, with a few changes to the lines making the new model more minimalist. Also the new logo Saint Laurent Paris has been added.
The other news was that the Muse bag will be discontinued, while only the black version will remain in stock in YSL stores worldwide.
A whole new collection of accessories will be available in the stores from January.
