In an attempt to encourage more Internet users to waste more time on YouTube finding more silly videos, DreamWorks Animation has teamed up with YouTube to make a special channel named “YouTube Nation” to curate the greatest, funniest videos on YouTube and share it with everyone, every day.
“YouTube Nation is a channel focused on helping you discover great creators and channels through daily videos and playlists,” says Kevin Allocca, YouTube Culture & Trends.
Hosted by Jacob Soboroff, the new web series is all about 5 minutes of geeks from around the web rambling about these top trending videos. I actually couldn’t wrap my head around this show. The episode was so fast, and very closely edited, at the end I had no idea what I just see. And it wasn’t as much as other web shows I watch on YouTube either. Folks like Chris Pirillo and this funny dude who goes by the name MaximBady makes killer videos than this DreamWorks team.
