HELLO MY DEAR READERS ♥_♥ !I had such a hard time completing this blog entry because, I'm going to be completely honest with you guys, I-AM-NOT-A HAIR PERSON!! I repeat, seriously am NOT a hair person. I don't do wonderfully gorgeous hair styles everyday. Sometimes my ugly lazy side pops up out of the blue, and I don't even comb it!But, I do always try to keep my locks as luscious and as healthy as possible. Because like wise women before us have said, ''Your hair is your crowing glory!'' And by golly, it is!
BLARGGGG! Sometimes my hair can be a serious dilemma! Naturally, my hair is very frizzy and wavy like. I've been through so much hair damage, split ends, dead ends, falling out hair. I've grown my hair to butt-length and I've chopped it to above my ears. I'm sure most of you gals catch my drift!Frizzy, wavy, curly, too straight, hay-like, too greasy, flat, limp, no volume. And the list goes on for days! So? How do we tame our out-of-control locks?Below is my complete hair guide. Product reviews and hair routines! These will be coming in parts. *Remember, these are my honest opinions! What works for me, might not work for you.*________________________________1. YOUR SHAMPOO & CONDITIONER.Your shampoo is an essential KEY in keeping your locks looking beautiful and feeling luscious! In my beauty journey, I've gone through plenty of shampoos. High brand, low brand. Best for this, best for that. I was always a sucker for vividly colored shampoo bottles. OH, IT'S NEON BLUE, IT MUST BE GOOD! That, obviously, isn't the case. The brand, the name, the color of the bottle makes NO DIFFERENCE. I used to think 'Garnier Fructis' was the BEES KNEES! And it's always on commercials, it has to be good!...This wasn't the case.All it did was ruin my hair, left it limp and did absolutely nothing but make my damaged hair worse.
Have you seen the ingredients? Practically every ingredient is death for your hair! The chemical PARABEN has actually been tested to see if it causes cancer! Do you really want to put that on your scalp?
BRAND NAME DOES NOT EQUAL GOOD!*Lately, I've been trying to keep my hair in tip top shape so I could grow it back to my butt-length hair. The last time my hair was that long, I was 14! So, I've become a bit of an organic shampoo & conditioner snob. I'm loving it so far. My mother is a vegetarian. She's been a health addict before it was a trend. She was the one carrying around a water bottle on the subway in the 90s when everyone else had coffee or a soda can. She suggested the shampoos & conditioners she uses. And I have to say, I'm LOVING IT! I don't feel guilty about using it. The ingredients are safe, it's VEGAN & has never been tested on animals! SUGGESTION 1. *Currently using* NATURES GATE SHAMPOO & CONDITIONERS !
SUGGESTION 2. BURT'S BEES POMEGRANATE & SOY SHAMPOO & CONDITIONERS!
I've been a fan of Burt's Bees ever since I purchased the chapstick, which I carry with me ALWAYS! Another brand my mother, the organic-nut, introduced me to. Burt's Bees Shampoo & Conditioner is 97% natural! This formula contains natural ingredients like coconut, sunflower oil, pomegranate & moringa seed extracts, it also contains Soy amino acids. It's Sodium Lauryl/Laureth Sulfate free, paraben free & phthalate free! And best of all, it's NOT tested on animals! All the bunnies and mouses out there are smiling at you :3 !I've used BB plenty of times and it's never disappointed. It's works wonderfully on my hair & the smell of the pomegranate is heavenly! And the best part of it? It's inexpensive!I recommend this product without a doubt! ♥SUGGESTION 3. MACADAMIA NATURAL OIL REJUVENATING SHAMPOO & DEEP REPAIR MASQUE! 
Oh, what to say, what to say. This product is amazing. During my chemically dried-damage hair phase, I was looking far & wide for a shampoo that nourished & hydrated, and TA DA, I found it in the Macadamia Natural Oil Rejuvenating Shampoo! This shampoo comes out like oil and works into a full, rich lather. And it smells great to boot! Its very moisturizing, and it got my dry hay-like hair looking silky again! And the price won't make your wallet cry!As for the Deep Repair Masque, it's like a conditioner, and it only adds to the glorious effects of the shampoo! As for this product, it did make my wallet weep a bit, but it was SO worth it!I recommend both products !__________________________
2. YOUR HOT TOOLS.My lovely fiance used to have butt-length hair!! Yes! And he maintained it for almost 5 YEARS! He had no split ends, dead ends, no hair damage whatsoever. Why? Because 1, he never dyed. And 2, he never needed to use hot tools! 
What's a girl to do without her hot tools? It's a part of the beauty life. Let's be honest here, girls, whether you straighten, curl, crimp, wave, dry...we all know it's causing major damage to your hair. My best advice, which I have taken plenty of times while my hair was practically falling out, is to lay off the hot tools for awhile. Put down your straightener for a few days. Try to air dry your hair instead of making it extra crispy with your blow-dryer. My baby cousin is ONLY 13 years old, and her hair already has excessive damage. That's because she's misinformed (and stubborn.) She blow-drys and straightens EVERY DAY, sometimes even two or three times a day! She has more split ends now, at such an early stage in her life, than her sister, who is a HAIRSTYLIST! 
But who are we kidding? We also know that no matter what I say, we're still going to use our frying hot tools! And who can blame us? It's what keeps our hair looking marvelous! So? How do we still use our hot tools, and cause little to no damage to our hair? It's simple. You start with three things: Quality, material & protection. 1. QUALITY:Ever look at the hot tool you're about to buy at the drug store and think to yourself, ''Wow, this is TOO good to be true!'' Well, you're right! It is too good to be true. A quality flat iron that costs 13 bucks? Yeah, probably not the best bet. Remember, just because you hear about a brand all the time on T.V, it DOES NOT mean it's a good product! If it's breaks your heart to take a break from your beloved hot tools, please invest in a quality product! Your hair will thank you later.2. MATERIAL:The material they use to manufacture your hot tools are way more important than you think. Obviously companies who don't care about quality, will settle for the cheapest material, so they can save more money. So you're stuck with damaged hair, and they're laughing all the way to the bank. Poorly made hot tools using pure METAL will snag, snap and burn your hair. Also, do not fall for products that are CERAMIC COATED, these products have only the outside layer coated to make it seem like a higher-quality hot tool, but the rest of the layers are made of metal. If you're looking for a high-quality, good material hot tool, PLEASE invest in CERAMIC hot tools! Ceramic is strong, will do the job with ease, but without all the damage-causing effects that most metal hot tools do!3. PROTECTION:Okay, so you just bought a good quality hot tool? Congratulations! Your hair will love you once again! But, you're not exactly out of the wilderness, yet! Even though you're doing your hair a lot more good now, you should still use protection! By protection I mean a hot tools heat-protectant spray.
Right now my favorite is theTRESemme Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Protective Spray! For an inexpensive product, this is really the bees knees! I got it in a local beauty supply store for only $5.00! Even with the most harsh hot-tool handling, this keeps my hair looking smooth & silky-looking, and has a great smell to boot!
Another suggestion would be the got2b Guardian Angel Heat Protect N' Flatten Flat Iron Balm & Gloss Finish. This product has a formula that protects hair even when it's exposed to 425 degree (218 Celsius) heat! It doesn't leave a sticky feel afterwards, and it keeps your hair looking clean & beautiful. This has a very lovely strong scent, too!
And my last suggestion, which I have used in the past & LOVED, is the CHI Farouk Systems Hydration Interlink 44 Iron Gaurd Thermal Protection Spray. CHI is a great brand that I've loved since my beauty journey began. They have great hot tools, hair products and repair products. Though this is a bit more pricey, I say it's well worth it! I found it to be just a bit sticky & dry when I first started using it, but then I learned the trick! You only need one pump! Spray once in the front and back, comb it all around until it cover most of your hair. DON'T SPRAY EXCESSIVELY! When I learned this, it kept my hair smooth, easy to iron with it on and best of all protected! ♥ ♥ ♥Now you're probably wondering, what about the hot tools themselves? What would you suggest? Well, here's my list of hot tools that are surely aimed to please:
The Solia Tourmaline Ceramic Ion Flat Iron is an amazing flat iron! My older sister owned one in red, and I always came snooping around hoping to borrow it! First, it comes in plenty of colors for your specific taste. Most importantly, it straightens with ease, it doesn't crisp your hair in between the plates (why? Because it's CERAMIC!), it even makes the hair smooth as you straighten! When I used it, it took 2 pulls on the same section to get it perfectly straight and never tugged! 
I owned the Babyliss Pro Porcelain Plate Ceramic Flat Iron about two years ago, before it was broken while in my suitcase during a trip T__T...I still cry for it today! It's a great flat iron. Good quality, good material and it worked efficiently. There was a beauty supply store in Manhatten, near the Empire State Building, that sold a mass amount of Babyliss & CHI products! I saw this flat iron and was automatically hooked, it sold me in an instant! It was the flat iron of my dreams! Give it a look & see for yourself!
Okay...I'm such a Babyliss snob! But their products are amazing! I highly suggest anyone looking for quality hot tools, invest in Babyliss! By experience, you will not be disappointed! The BaByliss Pro Porcelain Ceramic Curling Iron with instant heat technology is one of the best curling irons I've used to date! It's a ceramic layered curling iron, with a porcelain barrel. The curls come out smooth, silky and bouncy. Full of life! It's easy to maneuver and heats up quickly! With a bit of hairspray, these curls last for hours! Defiantly a MUST HAVE!♥ ♥ ♥
Organix Coconut Milk Weightless Mousse
Whenever my hair is feeling limp, with no life, no body...I use Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Weightless Mousse! It's very weightless, refreshing, has an amazingly delicious coconut scent and blends in easily! You don't need a lot, just rub in between your hands and rub in throughout your wet hair, focusing the most on your roots. Proceed with blow drying. It always gives my hair the extra kick it needs! BIG SEXY HAIR!MY FAVORITE HAIRSPRAY:Aussie's Sun-Touched Shine; High Hold + High shine
I absolutely love this hair spray! I'm a big fan of Aussie's products, I believe they work very efficiently! This hairspray doesn't have that horrible, choking scent most hairspray have. It's light, gives the hair a sun-kissed shine, no stickiness, and most importantly, HOLDS my hair style up!
