Younger Me Has a Great New Track [stream]

Younger Me, a new band out of Red Lion, PA, carries a boyish enthusiasm reminiscent of the summer days we’re all longing for. Following up their summer anthem “Swimming Pool” that they ironically put out this past December, the boys are back with a new single “Air Guitar” in preparation for their soon to be released EP, Coloring Book. With cascading background vocals supported by a repetitive tumble of drums, this track brings out a youthfulness that’s refreshing. Instead of the quiet indie volume the band has previously employed, though, the song pumps up to a heavier rock and roll vibe. In any case, what we’ve seen from these guys so far has forced us to say things like “reminiscent of Panda Bear” and “sounds like a more excited Local Natives” and thus, this upcoming EP should definitely be on your radar.
