While Young Unknowns might seem like an appropriate name for, well, a young, relatively unknown band (even their first post on Facebook was “Who the @#$! are the Young Unknowns?”), this may not stay the same for long. The four piece from Brooklyn are starting to make waves in the NY music scene with their glassy, edgy, yet refined 90s sound. The band’s debut EP You Are A Young Unknown is due out early in the fall. In the meantime, you can pre-order their album here and listen to the album’s first single streaming on their Bandcamp page, where they’ve also released a free download of “Target Practice”, a song “about love, not guns”.
