Powered by a 2,000 W brushless DC motor and the very latest lithium-ion battery technology, the “Marbel Board” aims to be the lightest electric vehicle in the world, weighing in at just 9.9 lb (4.5 kg). Made with a combination of carbon fiber and Kevlar, this electric skateboard is capable of rolling for 10 miles (16 km) with a single 90-minute charge. Start, acceleration and braking of the board gets controlled by a smartphone app, which supports iOS and Android platforms.

Florida-based startup behind the Marbel board recently launched a Kickstarter campaign to bring this awesome skateboard into production, and within just a few days they were able to surpass its $90k goal. If you have about $1,199 to burn, this skateboard can be yours too.
