see the sparkleThis was taken a month ago or so of our beautiful Irises on the balcony one fine morning as we sat outside in the beaming sunshine. Raindrops on flower petals is hard to beat , and even harder not to snap a photo. It’s always so poetic and stunningly beautiful , a moment in time perfectly balanced before the droplet of water falls away. Nature is sure as hell a wonderful teacher. Anyway before long , as in a couple of days, later I turned to admire our Irises and it had become like this … Not quite as beautiful , or perhaps not quite as obviously beautiful. It is amazing though what nature can do and show us. As I was sitting munching on my rye toast with our delicious Echiré butter , and enjoying a freshly made hot cup of green tea , I saw that the little curled up dried buds had something in them. India being India naturally squeezed them and out dropped some stunning violet ink, or should I say Iris ink. Luckily for me it missed my white waffle dressing down , as I think that probably would have done some viole (n) t damage. But ...
