Yo Hotel – Heathrow

By Srazzi @srazzi

After stepping off our flight from New York we were beat so decided a couple of hours in the Yotel at Heathrow terminal 4 was a great Idea.

Yotel created by Simon Woodroffe OBE the owner of Yo Sushi and  YOTEL CEO Gerard Greene. Yotel is a hotel based around luxury  airline travel with a touch of Japanese influence. This influence saw the creators develop small but luxurious cabins which that say  are a ’First class experience at an affordable price’.

As we walked in to the hotel we were created by the receptionist who gave us our room key and pointed us towards our cabin.

The hotel was super clean and almost felt as if you had stepped on to a plan. The cabins themselves were actually much bigger than I imagined them to be ( for some reason I thought they were going to be a tiny pod). Inside there was a raised bed (with TV and shelf), small area for bags with a fold down desk and an full sized bathroom with toilet sink and rain shower! Basically every thing you need for a short stay and to get ready for your day ahead.

We hopped in to the bed and watched some TV and had a little sleep before heading home feeling much better for our selfs.

Recommended for a relaxing snooze before thou head home or on to another fight.
