Ugh. Every photo and 89% of posts I made on FB were commented on by my mother with “XOXOXO", whether it made sense or not. Sound sweet? It’s not. It was incredibly annoying. It’s one of the reasons I’m no longer FB friends with my mother. But she can see photos/posts that my husband is tagged in because he’s not as heartless as me and is friends with her. And we have a ton of FB friends in common, many of which are like, “what’s with your mom? Xoxoxo on everything I post?" I still cringe whenever I see it.
She gets that I have boundaries and I love her, don’t get me wrong, but now we leave the xoxo’s for the birthday cards.
