Today I took Casey & Kia to the family church where they had a display of Xmas Trees. All the local shops decorated a Xmas tree in the style of the business.
We had mulled wine (not the kids of course) but mom and I did, with shortbread and mince pies, we also followed the quix and were rewarded with sweets at the end.
One of the trees were for for remembering loved ones so I took a silver card and wrote a little note for my very much loved nans who passed away almost 9 years ago now. Kia even drew her a picture.

The children of Casey's school helped make this
We then went to the Bowes Museum grounds where there must have been at least 50 Xmas themed stalls. We stroked the Alpacas and the Reindeer then went on to taste chocolate cake, curry and cheese.

The Alpacas - I was sure they were going to spit at me
It was then time for home as it was getting rather cold and starting to get dark. We bought some gingerbread Xmas trees and took them home to decorate.
