Wrapping A Gift Card To Make It Extra Special
Last weekend we had the honor of being invited to a weddingof a very creative young couple.I knew I wanted to give them a gift card to their registered storebut I also knew I wanted to present the gift cardwith creative flairto celebrate the very important occasion!

I found a wooden box on  Target's organizational isleand took it home and spray painted it, inside and out withchalkboard paint!
I took my time with this process
giving it several light coats
to make sure the box was evenly coated
with no drip marks.
I bought a sweet wedding cardand placed the gift card insidelightly gluing the top edge of  the gift card in placethen I  tied it all up with a sweet little bow.
I found an adorable set of love bird salt and pepper shakersthat seemed the perfect token towards setting up a new household together! These lovebirds were tucked safely in a nest of turquoise shredand topped off with the card and lid.

In Target I also found ceramic tags in their organizational section. These tags were so cute, they were actually the inspiration for the whole packaging design!

After their names were addedI simply wrapped the box with twinetied on the ceramic tagsand garnished the present withlavender and citrus from the garden!
The present was wrapped as special as the  occasion!
