Via Yahoo: Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner is reportedly getting into the cosmetics business after filing a trademark application that allows her to sell make-up under her name.
The former Olympian, who underwent a gender transition last year (no, he still has a penis), is keen to capitalize on her popularity, especially since her daughters have already achieved success in the cosmetics market. The 66-year old has sought exclusive rights to sell make-up, fragrance, nail polish and skincare under the name Caitlyn Jenner.
According to TMZ, Caitlyn hasn’t set out a clear plan of when or how she would start her beauty business, but she wanted to secure the trademark – before anyone else got the idea.
Even though there isn’t a business plan in place, the I Am Cait star has probably had the idea in mind for some time, as she regularly shares beauty tips on her WhoSay account.
In a video, she explained: “I have never had a makeup artist. I always did my own makeup until I started shooting the show. I have kept to it now because, you know, it’s television. You want to look good. It’s been a lot of fun for me to learn makeup and how it works.”
