You know which country we are talking about when you see a weird title like eating frogs alive or dolls with human heads. Yes, this one is also from Japan. Giant doughnut-shaped balloon like thing is called Ark Nova. It’s actually a mobile inflatable building that is capable of accommodating up to 500 people inside.

British sculptor Anish Kapoor and Japanese architect Arata Isozaki calls their work of art the “world’s first inflatable concert hall.” According to CNET, the Ark Nova’s maximum size is 98 feet wide, 118 feet long, and 59 feet high. And it’s said to be made up of a light weight balloon-like material.

Despite the weird bouncy castle look, this was made for a good cause. To help innocent and poor victims of disasters like Tsunami. The mobile concert hall is already scheduled to be used for several Japanese cultural events around the country.
