Today is “World Photography Day”! It’s the day where you should be proud to be a photographer. The day that you can tell yourself, it’s a holiday all about what YOU do. Be proud that you’re a photographer!
Do you remember the day you picked up your first camera? For me (Stephen), today is (give or take) a few days off of when I first picked up my camera 4 years ago and shot film. It was an old family camera passed down to me that at first I had no idea how to use it. Through practice, making it my focus in college and hundreds of rolls later… I’m still shooting digital & occasional film to this day. I’m so proud to be a photographer and you should be too!
In honor of World Photography Day, we wanted to celebrate two of our favorite things! Photography and ShootSac. 1) Go shoot something that allows you to get as creative as possible! It must be captured with 1 of these types of cameras: Instagram, Digital Pinhole, Toy Camera, Box Camera, Infared Camera, Slow shutter, long exposure, self portrait or your good ol’ digital camera! We suggest that you try shooting with a camera or shooting style that you’ve never tried before!
2) Post your image or images online on your blog, facebook, tumblr, flickr… where you post your creativity as a photographer.. Wherever you post, you must LINK back to our website (http://scarlettlovesstephen.com) and write a short blurb about why you captured the image, how you captured the image or why photography is such a big part of your life.
3) Come back to this blog post and comment on THIS post and in your comment post a link to where your image can be viewed online.

4) Entries must be submitted by Tuesday August 23rd, 2011 @ 12pm(EST).
