World Earthquakes 2011 Visualization Map

Posted on the 16 March 2012 by Gerard @presurfer
All earthquakes of 2011 displayed on the globe in a video that represents depth and intensity for each earthquake. The bigger the circle is, the more powerful it is. The earthquake most striking that year is the terrible earthquake of Tohoku in Japan, a magnitude 9.0, which occurred March 11, 2011. You can clearly see the violence of this earthquake, but also the amazing number of replicates that followed within months.
