I love blazer looks. The outfits are always looks so crisp and sharp and can make the most casual of outfits look pulled together. With spring around the corner, I am looking forward to breaking mine out and wearing them a variety of ways. In this post, I am going to show how you can create work to weekend blazer looks using the one blazer for both outfits.
Versatility is so important when it comes to having a workable wardrobe. If you can take one piece and style it a variety of ways you will get more value, so check out the looks below with the casual look on the left and the work outfit on the right to show you how you can take some of your favorite blazers and wear them to work and on more casual days.
Work to Weekend Blazer Looks
Blazer #1One thing I love about bouclé blazers is, depending on the styling, they can look very elegant and refined while also creating more of a dichotomy look with jeans and a casual top.
In the looks above, I started with this bouclé blazer from J. Crew and created a work outfit using these slim navy trousers from Reiss, crepe wrap shell from Ann Taylor, navy flats from Calvin Klein, navy and gold studs from Lele Sadoughi and taupe bag from MICHAEL Michael Kors. For a more casual ensemble, the same blazer was used with these skinny jeans from Lucky Brand, tan tank from Theory, dangle earrings from Max & Chloe, nude sandals from Sam Edelman and the same bag that I used for the work outfit.
Blazer #2On the right, I used the same blazer for a weekend look and styled it with a striking black and white tunic top from French Connection, skinny pants from J. Crew, Judith Jack reversible hoops, black booties from Franco Sarto and the same bag as used in the work look.
Blazer #3For a casual look, the same blazer can be easily popped over your favorite denim outfits, but also works great with khaki. I used this pair from Fabrizio Gianni and added this navy and tan printed top from Modcloth. The outfit is finished with a tan pair of wedges from Vince Camuto, Liz Palacios filigree hoops and the same tan bag as used in the work outfit.
Blazer #4To create a casual look with this blazer, I added a grey v-neck t-shirt, white skinny jeans from Zara, blush suede loafers from J. Crew, statement necklace from Stella & Dot and the blush bag that was used in the work outfit.
Blazer #5You can create so many different blazer looks with just a few in your wardrobe. Use them as professional work toppers, as outerwear pieces as the weather gets warm and to make your more casual looks sharper.
