Boiler was in Chequers Close, Colindale NW9. The Hot water is working fine, But when central heating demand is on, the boiler comes on and cuts off within 1 minute. The radiators are not worming up at all. You can hear the , pump running, fan running and the burner comes on and staying… then cuts off. So what is the problem? Starting with the most obvious contenders…..PCB or Diverter valve. Opening the PCB in this boiler is a night mare, so lets check from the easier end… Diverter valve. Valve gets 240 v but no movement of the black lever. Faulty part was identified within 10 minutes, and the part was changed and got the central heating working within the next hour.
