Woolworths Everyday Mobile Closing

Woolworths has just released a new pre-paid mobile service called Woolworths Mobile.

The Woolworths Mobile Pre-paid Cap brings customers improved features including a 3G service packed with talk, text and data. Registered Everyday Rewards members can also receive 10 per cent off every recharge purchase.

Following the introduction of the Woolworths Mobile service, we will be closing the Woolworths Everyday Mobile service in the first half of 2012. As a result there are some key dates that will effect your service:

  1. You will no longer be able to purchase recharge from the 30th of October
  2. All recharge vouchers will have to be applied to your service by the 30th of November. Standard credit expiry periods still apply.

To ensure you can keep your number simply head into any Woolworths store and pick up a new Woolworths Mobile SIM Pack.

Forums have been busy with unhappy customers concerned that their credit will not be able to be carried over anywhere. You effectively have 100 days from 30 November to use your credit (mid February). This is a great opportunity for a savvy prepaid mobile provider to step in and put a great promotion together and steal some customers. Any takers?
