Wrong place: A second woman is pictured who had to undergo an operation to remove all lumps on her torso after her breast implants burstThe woman, from Ningde city in Fujian Province in China, said she had spent around 2,000 yuan (£215) to have her breasts enlarged in 2002 during a trip to Nanjing.The operation, done by the Jiangsu Association of Chinese Medicine, bumped up her bra by two cups.Although she said she felt 'extremely satisfied' with the outcome, in recent three years she started to experience regular chest pain. Unidentified lumps started to appear under her arm pits and on her back.Although she tried to bear the pains and ignore her ‘torso boobs’, great pains and pressure from the family have led her to see a doctor at Fuzhou General Hospital earlier this month.Dr Chen Shengjin from the hospital said the implants had completely broken and leaked into her back, blood vessels in the chest and even muscles.Parts of her muscle tissues have been corrupted and ‘the two sides of her breasts had begun to decompose’, according to the doctor.

A similar case happened in Guangxi Province last year. A 39-year-old woman named locally as Tian Hui, had a huge lump removed under the skin on the abdomen after her breast implants broke and moved.Official statistics show there are around one million women in China who have been injected polyacrylamide hydrophilic gel during breast augmentation. Their health could be endangered any moment.Less than 10 per cent of them have chosen to remove the implants in the last 15 years.source
