Here's yet another artist who I'd never heard of until I came across this. He is Josef Loukota (Czech, 1879-1967). He seems to have painted lots of unremarkable pretty nudes and ballet dancers, but I really like this one. This is all the info I've been able to find about him:

Born 1879 in Hranicich / Czech Republic. Professor at the Prague Academy . Studied in 1896-1899 at the Art School by Liska and Masek, Academy in Prague in 1899-1900 by Brozik and in 1902-1903 by Schwaiger. Together with V.Hynais created wall allegorical paintings for Pantheon of Folk Museum in Praque. His genre panitings were often illustrated in the famous art magazines : " Zlata Praha " ( Golden Praque) and " Meggendorfer Humoristische Blatter " . Since 1910 he worked as professor in Academy. A few time beginning from 1900s the artist traveled and lived in Paris, his work was influenced from french art of beginning of 20 century.
