A special police team of the Criminal Investigation Department on Tuesday arrested a woman who had forged letterheads of the Department of Manpower and Employment and used them for various fraudulent activities.
This woman aged 51 years is a resident of Kuruppugoda, Beruwala.
Police said that investigations were carried out based on a complaint made at the Criminal Investigation Department by officers of the special investigations division prior to taking this woman into custody.
