After running out of my favorite foundation the other day (Revlon Nearly Naked FYI), I decided that I would risk not repurchasing and try something new out that was more suitable for the colder months. Medium to full coverage with a semi-glowing coverage was what I was after, and it's exactly what I got with new reformulated version of Rimmel's Lasting Finish foundation in 100 Ivory.
Sold in a glass bottle with a pump - *applauds* - this foundation has been raved about quite a lot recently, and the hype is definitely deserved in my opinion. On an everyday basis I like to use this sparingly and only in the places that I really need it, like around the nose where I tend to get a lot of redness, but the coverage can easily be built up to full for when you need serious perfecting. I'm not sure about the 25 hour wear time, (although who wears their foundation for that long anyway?!) but this can easily get me through a day without powder or needing to top it up.
My only gripes; being a fuller coverage foundation it can get a little cakey if not blended in really well. Just something to watch out for but it can be easily remedied and secondly, as with many of the drugstore foundations the shade range for this product is really pretty shocking.
