Winter is right around the corner. Along with the holiday season. Well, for that reason, Natures Garden has created our Winter Wonderland Lip Balm Recipe. This shimmering lip gloss recipe uses our natural lip balm base. Also, the recipe contains pure peppermint essential oil, giving the recipe a natural peppermint flavor. In addition, since we love all things that sparkle, we added a little shimmer with our diamond dust mica pigment! In this recipe we also show you how to add chocolate to your lip balm recipes. Winter Wonderland Lip Balm Recipe Ingredients From Natures Garden
All Natural Lip Balm Base
Peppermint Essential Oil

Winter Wonderland Lip Balm Recipe Tutorial
Step 1: Begin with cleaning your work area. Also, clean and sanitize the supplies you will be using. I would also suggest wearing a Natures Garden apron to protect your clothing, as well as a hair net and gloves. Set out your lip balm pots, so they are ready to be filled.
Step 2: Once you are prepared, get your scale out. In a microwave safe bowl, weigh out 3.35 ounces of our all natural lip balm base.
Step 3: Next, in your microwave, melt the lip balm base. You want to melt it slowly. We suggest heating it in 30 second intervals, stirring as you heat it. Heat only until your base is liquefied. I should note, another option is to melt the base in a double boiler. However, we chose to use our microwave.
Step 4: Now, in the second bowl melt your white chocolate wafers. We use seven chocolate wafers. The chocolate is used as a sweetener in our Winter Wonderland Lip Balm Recipe. Again, melt your chocolate in the microwave in 30 second intervals until melted.
Step 5: Once both the base and chocolate are melted, add the chocolate to the base. Stir well to incorporate the white chocolate in your lip balm.
Step 6: Add your mica. While the base is still in a liquid state, mix in 1/2 teaspoon of Natures Garden’s diamond dust mica.
Step 7: Add your essential oil. Use a disposable pipette to add 20 drops of our peppermint essential oil to your melted lip balm base. Stir well to incorporate.
Step 9: Once your lip balms set up completely, place the white lids on top. Your Winter Wonderland Lip Balms are now ready to use! We hope that you enjoy it as much as we do!
