Hello and Happy New year to you all I hope so far 2018 has been kind to you!
The weather at the moment is quite frankly a bit on the chilly side (well it certainly is here in the UK!) so what is better than a lovely pair of warm boots to keep you feet toasty!
I have a fab selection from JD Williams on the blog today that will keep you feet warm and comfy throughout the colder months.
Lets kick things off with these funky cowboy style low suede ankle boots which come in both E and EEE fittings.
They have an elasticated ankle so are really easy to put on even for someone like me who can struggle with getting my feet into boots due to my high instep. I found these quite generous in fit and very comfy around my ankle and I can easily wear two pairs of socks inside for extra layers. The heel is low so they are ideal for a day on your feet. I wore mine with jeans but you could easily put these with a dress and tights.
Next up are a pair of gray ankle boots which really appealed to my inner student as I loved boots like these when I was younger! What I love about these are the fleece inner which keep your feet really warm! They also have a lovely spongy inner sole which makes them really comfortable for walking and a zip on the ankle, making them easier to put on. As with the other boots they also come in E and EEE fittings. The soles are cleated and have good grips which for me is great as I do struggle to stay upright sometimes!
Last but by no means least are a pair of gorgeous high leg boots in a wine colour, which again are also fleece lined meaning they keep not only feet warm but also your legs! These come in two different calf fittings-standard and super curvy as well as E and EEE fittings. I went for the E fit standard calf and for me the fit is spot on but if you want extra leg room then try the super curvy fit. I love the scalloped pattern and the wedge heel is high enough to give me some extra height but not too high so as to be uncomfortable to walk in.
I hope you like my picks, and if you are out and about in the cold then wrap up and keep warm!
